While no one has yet proven a causal relationship between screen time and depression, the correlative data skews in that direction for heavy users. Studies have also found that screen time increases happiness up to a point. Those who get no screen time at all are less happy than those who get a moderate amount.
We think it’s best to keep in mind the old adage, ‘Everything in moderation,’ and consider what’s the recommended amount of time.
